What to Expect from an ILM7 Diploma Qualified Coach
This qualification is for Senior Management or coaching individuals to add Executive Coaching to their skill set and achieve for many another post-graduate equivalent qualification whilst becoming a qualified experienced coach in a saturated, unregulated market. The course provides for detailed supervision sessions, virtual learning workshops, peer group engagement and qualified and assessed written assignments for the Institute of Leadership and Management – not for the faint-hearted !
My Personal Experience with Executive Coaching
I undertook my own ILM Level 7 Qualification in conjunction with Taylor Clarke. In the below interview, I gave my feedback on the course and discussed how it has aided my personal development.
Tracey is a down to earth and experienced ‘people’ professional. She has coached me on several occasions. I have found her to be curious and particularly insightful – this comes from her strong active listening skills. I have also found her to be empathetic and supportive yet challenging where required. She is quick to question what is being said and to clarify what might be underlying situations that need exploring. She is comfortable sharing her experiences and this offers different perspectives. I should say that as a qualified coach myself, I find Tracey’s approach refreshingly open and easy to engage with.
